Meet The Director

Tarrell “CiNO” DeLoach is an independent filmmaker, director, screenwriter, cinematographer, photographer, actor, youth mentor, and founder of CiNO Productions. Born and raised in Los Angeles County, DeLoach came of age during the 1990s and early 2000s, an environment that continues to shape his approach to storytelling—authentic, emotional, unconventional, and rooted in community.

Raised by a single mother in the entertainment industry alongside his older brother and younger sister, DeLoach was introduced to the world of storytelling at an early age. Watching his mother work behind the scenes exposed him to casting, production, and the business of entertainment long before filmmaking became his career.

His grandmothers also played a defining role in his creative development. His maternal grandmother inspired his visual storytelling through photography, scrapbooks, and preserving family memories, teaching him that every image has a story worth remembering. His grandmother on his father’s side cultivated his love of cinema. Watching movies together became one of their favorite pastimes, and they would study films, break down the stories, performances, characters, and filmmaking choices, and revisit the movies they loved.

Many of the films they watched reflected the raw, community-driven spirit that continues to influence DeLoach today. They were often made with limited resources but carried powerful stories, genuine emotion, cultural authenticity, life lessons, love, and a tremendous amount of heart. That early exposure taught DeLoach that compelling filmmaking isn’t defined solely by a budget—it is defined by the story, the people behind it, and the passion to bring it to life.

DeLoach began developing his own voice through journalism and photography while in college, working as a journalist and photographer for his school newspaper and serving as a media staff photographer for Student Government Association events. These experiences strengthened his ability to document people, places, and moments while working in fast-paced live environments.

Before establishing himself primarily behind the camera, DeLoach gained experience in front of it, appearing in projects including Just Jordan, a Kool-Aid commercial, Russell Athletic March Madness campaigns, and NFL.com campaigns. He was also involved with the feature film 17 Again, starring Zac Efron and Matthew Perry. His experience as a performer continues to influence the way he directs, communicates with actors, and approaches performance.

His education in filmmaking was equally hands-on. DeLoach interned with ATL House of Shoots and Go2 Studios, gaining practical experience in production support, studio operations, behind-the-scenes coverage, and the business of entertainment. He later studied Fine Arts in Georgia and continued his filmmaking education through the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.

As an independent filmmaker, DeLoach has taken his creative work across the United States and internationally, including experiences in Greece, London, and Mexico. His work spans narrative film, documentary, sports, photography, media, music, live events, commercials, and branded entertainment. His professional experience and collaborations include BET, Sprite, Monster Energy, A3C Music Festival, Go2 Studios, the Young Miami Official After Party, Clinché Entertainment, iHeartRadio Music Festival, Sony Music, and the B.I.B. (Business Information Buffet) Podcast.

Today, DeLoach is the founder of CiNO Productions, an independent production company based in Las Vegas, Nevada. CiNO Productions develops original feature films, television series, documentaries, podcasts, commercials, branded content, and other visual media.

Beyond his professional work, DeLoach is committed to giving back through youth mentorship and creative education. In his free time, he teaches underserved youth the fundamentals of filmmaking, photography, and multimedia, helping young people gain access to creative tools and develop the confidence to tell their own stories.

At the heart of DeLoach’s work is a belief that great storytelling can come from anywhere. His creative perspective is shaped by Los Angeles, family, photography, cinema, journalism, independent filmmaking, and the communities that raised him. Whether working with a large production, documenting real life, creating branded content, or building a story from the ground up, DeLoach brings a filmmaker’s eye and an independent spirit to every project.

Through CiNO Productions, he continues to build stories and platforms that entertain, challenge, connect, and inspire—while creating space for the next generation of storytellers to find their voice.
